Accommodation

The Polytechnics Institute runs some Student Halls of Residence which are normally occupied by a small percentage of the students of the three Colleges in town (Education and Technology and Management, and Nursing and Health Studies). Rooms cost about 100 Euros pe rperson per month.

Foreign Students usually stay at one of these Halls. However, most of the Portuguese students and the foreign students who wish may find accommodation in the community. In this respect foreign students are helped by the Bureau of International Programmes and Projects.

Cost of a single  room in private housing: ± 150 Euros per person per month.
